Our Team

Just In Time Dog Walking Team!

Hi, I am Justine. I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember. My love for animals began with my first cat, Spice. My mom gave her to me when I was five. Very soon after, I was caring for her myself. I learned to love and be responsible for my fur babies at a very young age.

I had worked in retail all of my adult life. While working as a supervisor for a well-established local business, I met a professional dog walker. I was so excited when I was able to interview for this unique job. I was hired and my learning began. During pandemic shutdowns, I decided to start branching out on my own and Just-In-Time Dog Walking Services was launched.

When I am not working (I work a lot), I enjoy hanging out with my sons and “The Horde.” The Horde consists of my own pets. Let’s just say for now, that there are a lot of them.

I understand the importance of keeping your pets well and safe. My experience includes dog training through my previous employer. I have walked both large and small dogs and many different breeds. I have experience with several other species of animals as well.

The most important thing to know about me, is that I will love your pet(s), as much as I love mine!

Laura is joining our team!

Hi!

Laura here! I am excited to join this fantastic company. I have had pets for most of my life, starting out with a dwarf rabbit named Nibbles. She was my baby for many years, protecting me from my teasing brother by charging at him. Funniest sight to see for sure! Recently, Jack, my 20-year-old cat passed away. Jack was my go to snuggle buddy and I miss him dearly. The kitty in my picture is my new little guy Leo. He is 2-years-old and covers me in love every time I come home, no matter how long I am away.

My jobs have varied most of my life, from being a waitress, to being a receptionist, but I absolutely love being outdoors and meeting new people. This job will fulfill that love very well.

Recently, I married my best friend Matt and I spend a lot of my free time with him, Leo our cat and Jozie our newest family member. Jozie is an Australian Shepherd. I do photography on the side. Any chance I get, I want to travel! That could mean spending five hours driving to the Muskoka area, staying for two days and then driving back or it could also mean just traveling to Hamilton to see the sunset at nighttime or to see the stars.

Since I was a little girl, people have called me their pet whisperer. I’ve saved bunnies from the side of the road, ridden horses, cuddled tons of dogs and cats, house sat for many years, fed meds to cats when needed, and been told I should become a vet. I’m excited to take part in loving your pets, of all shapes and sizes!

Jackie has joined us too!

Hi, I am Jackie and I am very excited to be joining this amazing team of dog walkers. I have had many pets over the years. I grew up with my beloved Dalmatian Sam, who I had for 15 wonderful years. She was my baby and she loved me so much.  My cat, Nails, was another 15-year, beautiful relationship. He was my baby boy.  Currently I have a sweet Husky girl named Charlee and a goofy Black Lab named Paul. I also have two sweet kitties, Butters and Jett.

I work full-time in general labour, having been with the company for 15 years. It is an honour to be joining the Just In Time team. I look forward to helping out as much as possible.

All of my life I have had a love for animals. I look forward to meeting your fur babies and taking care of them as if they were my own.

We have now added Jeannette and Brittany too!

Hello! My name is Jeannette and I’m very excited to join the Just In Time team. Having grown up with animals my whole life, my first dog being a black lab named Layla, I understand the joy and responsibility that comes with caring for them. I currently have a 9-year-old dachshund named Rooby, a playful 3-year-old Doberman named Odin, and a wise 13-year-old cat named Murphy. We love spending time outdoors in our trailer and riding our ATVs up north.

I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and provide them with the love and attention they deserve!

Hi, I’m Brittany! I’m thrilled to start a new chapter as part of the Just In Time Dog Walking & Boarding team. I’ve had a love of animals ever since I was a child. My first two pets were bonded sister cats that grew up with my sister and I. They were the best and we were always there for each other, with lots of snuggles and purrs. Mandy, my tabby, lived until she was 17 and Tasha, my calico, lived until she was 16.

I’ve been called the “cat whisperer” pretty much all of my life. I will stop whatever I’m doing to be friendly to whatever pet crosses my path. I’ve coaxed many scared kitties out of hiding and they always seem to flock to me. Recently, I’ve expanded that to include whispering to dogs and have done lots of research on what makes them tick, but I’m eager to learn so much more.

Two years ago, I adopted sister cats from a rescue and have been working hard on their care. Stella (pictured), was and still is very shy around strangers, but is the most snuggly and will purr and purr in my lap. Zoe (camera shy) will “squeak” at me whenever I go to the fridge and always purrs when she sees me.

I’m honoured to be a part of this team and am looking forwards to meet everyone and their pets!
